I am facing a problem. I am suggested to leave an extra 3 foot rod from my rooftop from every post my question: Is there any relation between earthquake and these extra rod leaving. I am totally wanting to avoid it since it will occupy a huge amount of space in my roof. Thanks for your assistance in advance.
